It has been 18 years since Konami's six-player X-Men first hit arcades, and now the game is finally ready to come home. In an interview with GameFocus, a Konami representative confirmed that the Xbox 360 version of the game will launch December 15, with the PlayStation 3 edition available starting December 26.
Fun fact: Dazzler was the Jubilee of the '70s and '80s.
As in the original arcade game, players will get to pick from the mutant supergroup's roster and take on Magneto's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants to save the world. The game features Cyclops, Wolverine, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Storm, and Dazzler as playable heroes and features a veritable army of villainy, including the Sentinels, Pyro, Blob, Mystique, and Juggernaut.
X-Men: The Arcade Game will support up to four in local multiplayer and a full six-player complement in online action. The game will also support leaderboards and arcade-style drop-in multiplayer online, so friends can join in at any point. Additionally, players hosting games online can set the number of allowed players, the difficulty, and the starting level to tailor the experience to their tastes.
The port is being handled by Backbone Entertainment, which has considerable experience making downloadable versions of old games. The Emeryville, California-based studio has previously released downloadable versions of Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. It also developed Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection, a compilation of 40 games from Sega's 16-bit system, for the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Two Worlds II spinning January 25
Two Worlds II's twisting path to release is nearly complete. TopWare Interactive today confirmed a January 25 release date for the fantasy role-playing game in North America, Ireland, and the UK. Additionally, the company confirmed that publishing partner SouthPeak Interactive had relinquished the UK and Irish publishing rights to TopWare.
First announced as an expansion pack in 2007, Two Worlds II was initially scheduled for an early 2008 release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. However, the fantasy role-playing game then picked up full sequel status, as well as multiple delays.
Two Worlds II picks back up with the original's hero, after having languished in prison for a number of years. Gamers find themselves first confronting the nefarious Gandahar (the villain from the original), before setting out on a new quest to save the world. The game also includes new cooperative multiplayer modes, where players can work together to build cities or team up to undertake a dozen story-driven quests.
Enough drama for an episode of As the Two Worlds Turn.
The news is the latest in a series of unusual twists involving Two Worlds II and apparent issues between its publishing partners. The game had been expected to launch in September, but SouthPeak delayed it, suggesting at the time that the extra months would be used to polish the product. TopWare took exception to that, announcing that the game was completed and ready for sale, but SouthPeak was holding back the release to avoid fourth-quarter competition in the RPG space. (The game has already launched in some European markets, where TopWare said it sold more than 1 million copies in less than three weeks on shelves.) Xbox Games Online Free Trials - Genuine Websites?
Okay, now it is pretty much obvious that everyone who surfs the World Wide Web appreciates being provided with free stuff. You find things online, games, eBooks for example and some can rather be expensive. Therefore, when people come through a free gift, they take it. Now people browse the internet to know more about things, to find answers for their questions and much more to learn and become more aware of certain categories. The internet is considered to be as one of the greatest tools online, it sure is don't you think?
Now you may think what kind of things you can find free online? Well one incredible thing would be the Xbox 360, wouldn't it would be fantastic if an Xbox game 360 was given out for free?
Now free things being spread can seem a bit creepy, you know, people may have the thought that everything given out through the internet is nothing but a scam. It isn`t true but still, beware, not any website is the real thing, just keep an eye out. You see, websites which are genuine tend to provide their customers with a straight type of presentations. You know, offering you a laptop, a game-gadget, say mobile phones for example, they won`t take you into this loop in their website, or seem desperate trying to make a sale. Anyway, surely anyone can tell from what seems to be a scam and what is truly genuine, a site with value.
Free Trials
One thing about genuine sites is the fact that these websites will tend to place some kind of offer, in order for the visitor to fill it out with the intention of receiving a particular chosen gadget in advance or any other product for a specific period of time. Secondly, you will be directed to recommend a friend or a family member, actually it is anyone. Now this occurs in order to increase your chances in receiving a gift or sometimes it can be a discount for a future product you may purchase later on. The catch is here, when you finish signing up, you will be in the trial period; it is your responsibility to end the trial before the last day ends. If you do so, and the cancellation process happens to be a smooth one, then this website is the real deal.
However, if for any reason you feel that the product you have accepted, particularly a free Xbox game online that was offered was pretty much properly achieved and handled, then it is provided from a trust worthy company. After that, you can feel safe and sure that the Xbox game you ordered will be eventually delivered in the day specified on the page itself. All you have to worry about, and the only thing left to do is to cancel the free trail of the Xbox game online in time before you get charged. Keep in mind that when you cancel it later, the charge charged is not refundable.
Search for Comments:
Look for complimenting comments left from the people who tried it, if you feel they were genuine, or if they were outnumbered, a lot in other words then the site is safe and you can be confident filling out the sign up form provided.
Have a look at this website: http://www.xboxgamesonline.co.uk/ and feel free to sign up because it is worth it, definitely worth it. This site is genuine, and provides incredible Xbox Games for you online. It is by far the best out there. Don`t hesitate to contact the company, they respond fast enough for you to purchase an Xbox Game online the same day. Present Ideas for Avid Gamers - 5 Great Ideas
Christmas is almost here and that means that parents are going to be panicking about what they should get their gamer sons or daughters. The technology that is needed for this type of gaming has only been around for a few decades, so most parents are left woefully in the dark when it comes to gaming knowledge. Just what is an Xbox 360? What is a PS3? What do I do for Christmas? Here are 5 great ideas for presents for avid gamers.
1. A high definition TV. A gaming system can have all the graphical capabilities in the world. Without the proper TV, those high definition graphics aren't going to show up. Both the Xbox 360 and the PS3 are capable of displaying resolutions up to 1080px. This means that you need a TV with this same resolution. TVs always look best when they are displaying their native resolution. The Wii is only capable of 480px resolutions. If your child only has a Wii, you don't necessarily need a high resolution TV. However, consider getting a big TV. Bigger is always better!
2. Wireless Controllers. Wired controllers can ridiculously obnoxious sometimes. The wires get tangled with other wired controllers, they get tangled in themselves, and they can be tripped over which can result in broken equipment. Each system has a wireless type of controller. Just look up the system title and wireless controller in the same sentence on Google and you'll find what you need.
3. i-eX gaming chair. One of the biggest problems gamers run into is comfort. Often gaming sessions will last for hours on end. Back pain is a very common problem. With high end gaming chairs, such as the i-eX, those gaming sessions will be done in complete comfort. Plus, the lack of pain is healthy for your kid.
4. A new PC. One of the biggest downfalls of PC gaming is the fact that they can become out of date very fast. Buying a new PC is the only option sometimes. Some PCs are upgradeable, but you need technical knowledge of your system to buy the right components, so buying a new PC is the best option.
5. A gaming mouse/keyboard. These may seem a bit over the top, but they can really help in some games. Gaming mice have a more precise tracking system and gaming keyboards have extra keys for gamers.

Which Is Better Playing Console Games Or Playing PC Games?
There are two types of playing games, the first one is by playing with a console, and the second one is playing with a personal computer. This article will be showing you some of the key points and advantages of playing from a console and a PC.
The first and most important factor to consider is the cost. The cost of console is a lot cheaper compared to gaming PC. You need to modify your computer in order to play high definition games, whereas video consoles are specially designed to run high-end games. You don't have to upgrade the specs of your console, unlike your computer that should be kept updated with new hardware releases.
The second thing is the way games are played, and whether it will work or not. Every time you buy games for your console, you can expect to get the same results - you will be able to play it. Games for PC do not always work, and regardless of how upgraded your computer is, there are discs that simply won't work.
When it comes to technicality, computers require a more technical approach. Game consoles are very simple to operate, simply turn it on and play. Some computers need a few configurations before you can play, and this would require technical knowledge.
Before the online networks for consoles were released, PC gaming is more preferred when it comes to multi-player games. But with the release of the latest features for game console, playing with friends online is better with consoles.
If you are going to ask me, I would say that game consoles are better than gaming PCs. Games for personal computer may also be a good source of entertainment for people, but if you are looking for a deeper and better gaming experience you need to go with game consoles.

Family Guy games
Family Guy games is a site that has many games based on the hit show on the Fox network. There are ten games to choose from, and two different soundboards. The games are fun, and a few are more than a little challenging. The games use Peter and Stewie for the most part, so if there are any Meg fans out there, you might be disappointed.
A couple of games that really stand out are Peter vs. The Giant Chicken. This game is a two player, and it must be two players, where you and another person try to beat each other up as Peter or his arch nemesis, The Giant Chicken. This game is very fun and it is great for fans of the episodes where these two beat the snot out of each other. Stewie to the Egg is a game based on the episode where Stewie goes inside Peter to stop him and Lois from having another baby. The game is a basic fly and shoots type, but still a great game for fans of the show and that episode. Peter Torture Chamber is a funny flash game that invites you to torture Peter in creative and funny ways. This game will have you laughing, it should get old after a while, but it somehow manages to stay funny. Family Guy Invaders, is the classic Invaders game but with the Family Guy characters. This game will appeal to both classic gamers and Family Guy fans. It is not as funny as the others, but still a fun game to play.
You can also try the link to Simpsons games, another bunch of games based on another hit Fox animated comedy. This set of great games includes almost all of your favorite characters, Homer, Bart, Lisa, and Marge. Some of the great games on this one include a very good trivia game. It is harder than you think it would be, and a fun way to put that knowledge of the Springfield gang to the test. Homer the Flanders killer, is fun shooter with an angry Homer. Bart's Naked Skateboarding is based on the classic scene from the movie. Homer Beer Run 2 is a sequel to a previous game; this one is much better seeing as you can choose from the whole family. The object is to collect as many beer kegs as you can. Finally, there is an interactive Simpsons game where you can explore the house, a great fan for the hardcore fans.
